Scott Dyer

Dr. Scott Dyer joined the Waterborne team in 2018 as a Senior Scientific Advisor following an extensive career with The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G). He brings an impressive depth and scope of work in environmental research and development, as well as industry and regulatory experience. Scott also embarked on a professorship at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas, and leverages his considerable background to enhance Waterborne’s ecological risk assessment capabilities.

Explore Where We Work

For more than 27 years, Scott served as environmental expert in various capacities within P&G, including corporate and business sector assignments. The breadth of his work enabled him to develop strong external collaborations and expertise, from in vitro methods of assessing bioaccumulation to country-wide exposure modeling, and helped foster the development of eco-epidemiology. His work with numerous regulatory and government agencies such as US and state EPA offices, USGS, the European Chemicals Agency and the UK Environment Agency, among others, furthered the science around ecological risk assessment.

Scott has provided leadership for many influential professional platforms such as SETAC, as well as a wide array of trade associations, including: American Chemistry Council, International Council of Chemical Associations, American Cleaning Institute, Personal Care Products Council, Cosmetics Alliance Canada, Cosmetics Europe, and the European Centre for Ecotoxicology and Toxicology of Chemicals.

As a part of the Waterborne Team, Scott applies his considerable skills and knowledge to environmental issues and research for clients in the US, Europe, and elsewhere.
