Marty provides consultation and direction on issues related to product registration, chemical environmental fate behavior, simulation modeling, aquatic monitoring, stochastic hydrology, and hydraulic engineering. Marty has spent more than 30 years working in hydrologic and water quality investigations and has special expertise in water quality modeling, risk assessment, and risk mitigation. He has studied the hydrology and hydraulic behavior of watersheds and river systems throughout the United States, and has examined the impacts of urbanization and other land use practices on ground water and surface water quantity, quality, and ecologic stability.

Marty’s contributions to predictive models are supporting scientific research and regulatory decisions in the U.S., the European Union, Latin America, and the Asian Pacific. Marty has participated on several scientific work groups and expert panels related to probabilistic risk assessments and simulation modeling.
